CalCad ST

DATA SHEET MODULE

Module ST, like all other CalCad modules, runs on a PC equipped with any Windows operating system (95, 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP). This module starts from CALIGOLA CAD files and generates technical data-sheets.

DATA-SHEET FOR DIE MAKING
By simply pressing one button, the program creates a complete data sheet for die making. Graphic descriptions of the separate pieces that make up the model, with information on outline length and number of punches for each piece in each size and incidental general information (steel type, knife height, etc.). It prints out a summarizing data sheet for the die manufacturer and it calculates the cost for die purchasing divided by die type.

AUTOMATIC PIECE CONSUMPTION
By simply pressing one button, the program creates a complete data sheet with the material consumption for the entire model. Graphic descriptions of the separate pieces that make up the model, with information on net area and gross area for each piece. Gross area is calculated increasing the net area by a percentage that depends on the piece material.

It prints out a summarizing data sheet and it calculates costs divided by each material.

PLACEMENT FOR MANUAL PIECE CONSUMPTION
Interactive manual positioning of the selected pieces allows the user to obtain net and gross area for the positioned pieces. The calculation of the gross area is performed according to different methods (minimum rectangle, variable step grid, expansion of the occupied area, and others) to satisfy different needs and routines in calculating the consumption. There is also a graphic printout of consumption for the different materials and for the different selected pieces and it calculates the material cost divided by material.

WORK PROCESS SHEET
Simple tools allow the user to create work process sheets with graphic descriptions of the separate pieces and text descriptions of the work that must be performed on the piece. Printout of the standard outline, enriched by technological information and general project information as aid for the processing. Photo-realistic rendering of the finished model with 3D effects.
